Spearheaded by the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) and in collaboration with T-Systems, Better Meds offers an integrated solution for prescribing and administering medications, streamlining workflows, reducing errors, and enhancing patient safety.
By adopting Better Meds, healthcare professionals gain a comprehensive view of patient treatment, minimizing the risk of medication-related safety issues and eliminating redundant information entries. This standardized medication management solution aims to improve the overall experience for healthcare providers, leveraging technology to reduce administrative burdens and facilitate easy access to crucial data.
With the implementation starting at Hospital del Mar and Consorci Hospitalari de Vic, the plan is to progressively expand Better Meds to most Catalan public hospitals.
