Pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca has introduced Evinova, a health technology business aimed at deploying the digital health solutions already utilized globally by the company to clinical research organizations (CROs), trial sponsors, care teams, and patients.

Evinova seeks to optimize clinical trial design and delivery, minimizing time and costs in medicine development. The suite of digital solutions includes a unified trial solution for direct data collection, virtual visits, direct-to-patient medicine delivery, telehealth, remote monitoring, and sample tracking. Evinova also features an AI-powered study design and planning module and a portfolio management tool for comprehensive insights.

Operating independently within AstraZeneca, Evinova collaborates with Parexel, Fortrea, Accenture, and Amazon Web Services to extend its digital products to a broader customer base, supporting global clinical research initiatives. CEO Pascal Soriot believes Evinova’s expertise in AI-enabled digital technologies presents an opportunity to enhance patient care, drive healthcare transformation, and reduce carbon emissions in medicine development.
